In loving memory of Fabrice Loria. you were a wonderful friend.

maybe to many people February is a fabulous month to celebrate love and life. but to me, February is NOT an easy month. there are a lotta memories and death anniversaries. and plus, somehow i always ended up alone on the 14th.

I had just said my final goodbye to my friend FABRICE LORIA. he is big heart, caring, funny, loving and a very genuine person that we all remembered. His death was sudden and unexpected. once again, it has taught all of us that life is fragile. looking at his 13-year-old son brandon, i couldnt help but burst into tears. He seems very strong but heart broken, no doubt. every move we make will somehow affect on people we love/love us. may angels and strength be with him.

after the funeral, i drank my sorrow away. my friend asked me, "for many years, i couldn't understand why people drink at/after funerals. i still cant..." i said, "part because you are celebrating one's life has come to an end, he/she has accomplished something. but most importantly, your loved ones DO NOT want to see you cry with a broken heart."

another interesting thing about today is that, the priest has brought up a very interesting idea of passing. Father gave us body and soul. when one passes and return to the home of father, his soul leaves the shell and rises. God might put your body away, but he will take your soul and put it closer to his. Your loved ones may never be gone, because he/she will forever be on your mind and in your heart.

there are signs that lead us to where we stand today, i truly believe that.

I later on had Fabrice's favorite food--pasta for dinner and along with some drinks to celebrate love and life. i am grateful for my life, my beloved parents and my wonderful friends. just like fabrice, I know they will always be by my side, always.

shortly after that, late night grocery shopping definitely took my mind off many things. life is short, live life the fullest. just like Fabrice said, LAUGH A LOT & DANCE YOUR ASS OFF!!!

SUPERbowl Sunday!

Last time I watched SUPERBOWL was 2 years ago when SEAHAWKS was in it playing against Steelers. Now finally after 3 years, we gathered here on a beautiful sunday to watch steeler kicking some ass! well of course not seahawk's, not again! We all went to Theo's house and started the yum yum BBQ without ketchup or any kind of sauce...besides ranch and my favorite HONEY MUSTARD!
We had mash mallow gun fight, well not really a fight more like couple of dudes acting stupid trying to catch em mash mallows. and we caught our ORIGINAL WHEEL BARREL GRILL on fire... time to retire man! and we ALMOST started King's cup at 5pm in the afternoon. well of course we finished the very intense game with phil "sigh"ing about how he lost 150 and me losing my voice moreee by screaming thru the end of it! It was a great game, great food, great day and a GREAT deal of fun!


We also got a hilarious TC butcher chinaman style IN DA HOUSE! make sure every piece is even and nice just like how we chinaman like it. lol! :D



And next we have the duudes fighting to catch mash mallow bouque just like girls :)

Best Day EVER!

Jan. 20th is a good day. Our President is black. and i just had a very adventurous day being proud of being a Baybabe. :)

After lunch, LO & I decided to take a drive somewhere. Although both of us came up with the idea of SANTA CRUZ, realizing we wouldn't have enough time to even make it to the sunset, we started our drive towards Marina district.

It was a very sunny day!

BAY AREAAAA




After arriving Sausalito, we went straight to "the BEST ICE-CREAM PLACE in the whole BAY AREA"--quote Mominderr :) it's Lappert's Ice-cream yogurt by the water. you will see it when you keep driving along the water before the big parking lot on your right hand side.

Since it's a sunny day, we walked over to sit by the water.











And right when we were about to get up and leave, we saw some police cars escorting some car and we joked that it was THE PRESIDENT haha. but right when the car drove by, I SAW ADAM SANDLER IN THE PASSANGER SEAT!!!!

I couldn't believe it myself!!! they were filming some movie in SAUSALITO! so after our yummy ice-cream we decided to drive behind them! totally STALKER STATUS! haha!!! because theres only one way they will go so we drove straight along for a while and finally found them parked on the side filming. :) so in LO's lil white s2k with the roof let back we followed them around and finally we pulled over and i waved at him, he WAVED BACK!!!!! :D i kno you are jealousss muahahaha.

















The bush man by the pier!!!! he is hilarioussss! It sucks that people kept trynna take pic of him and made him lose all his business.

I hella wanted the crab at the seafood market but someone is lazy didnt wanna do all that work just to eat some crab! but thats the whole point! it's the adventure that makes it good! so we just had calamari and cup of clam chowder intead.(im not a big fan of sour dough) but still! very yummy!!!

drove down Lombard street, went window shopping in downtown and ended our fantastic day with a bowl of yum yum PHO. :)

This whole week has been very SUNNY just like the summer time. It makes me wanna go out to the beach, lay there enjoy a cup of lemonade ;) play some beach volleyball, watch people run with the puppies. I LOVE SUMMER! I enjoy the heat & the sun! SUMMER, pls come already!

Best Tapioca place EVER!!! it's in Korean town, TACOMA! it's not the same as Quickly's. It only has fruity drinks not like milktea kind. But it's soooo fresh and delicious! and if u pay an extra dollar you can have ur foto taken and post it on the wall, me and my girls have a corner alreadyyy :) lots of memories there. and you can chill, listen to music and play Jenga lol. That is one place i MUST go when i go back to WASHINGTON.
